About to ramble about beloved characters. You’ve been warned.

Did you notice that Vriska’s quirk has changed now? She used to type (and talk now, i guess) with a lot of additional vocals and exclamation points because she exaggerated everything she said and she loved being a show off, but now she’s all chill and reflexive, she goes straight to the point without babbling about how great and superior she is, or pointing out how everyone else is a loser. Also, when she finds out Tavros was sleeping she was more like “seriously??? we have priorities going on here man!” than “what the fuck is wrong with you, imbecile?”

I think it’s safe to say she’s nice to Tavros. She hasn’t insulted him or said anything bad to him, and when Tavros went all jealous bf over her she simply groaned. Like… apparently this has happened before and she already knows how to deal with it, but she’s not rude or mad about it.

In other hand Tavros totally has self esteem of steel now. He is the one calling people (John) loser and demanding things instead of asking politely and then simply backing off like he used to. He WANTS to impress Vriska, he wants to give her that ring because he loves her, not because he feels obligated to. He also said she’s smarter and more cunning, but this time around it wasn’t like bringing himself down or pitying himself, but complimenting her nicely (and as I side note, Vriska did not agree or add anything to it, she simply accepted it without bringing him down or glorifying herself).

While noticing all this I felt so happy I could cry. These characters have grown up SO MUCH. They both are more mature AND have outgrown their biggest flaws, which were arrogance and lack of self worth, and they are together now and THEY SEEM TO BE PRETTY HAPPY IN MY OPINION?

In other words, if you’re still saying you hate this ship because it is/was an abusive relationship, you need to find another excuse because I honestly think this change was thanks to the fact they’ve been alone together for so long. Vriska is nicer and down to earth because of Tavros, and she totally has something to do with Tavros’ confidence.

Also… he forgave her ages ago, she has accepted her mistakes, they complement each other, this ship is great, take your hate somewhere else.

Now if you excuse me I’ll keep weeping over gorgeous and well executed character development.

Love vriska and love tavros and agree entirely.
